Just played a lovely game of the new Microscope with @ericvulgaris.bsky.social and friends. It's going live on Once Upon A Game in maybe 2 weeks? This was another test of the new big picture method (which I haven't talked about yet) and it continues to deliver. www.kickstarter.com/projects/lam...

Our game of Trespasser has finally released! This is definitely the chonkiest game I've played in a while but that isnt a bad thing. There's a lot to like in this game but one things for sure it needs more than a one shot to see it all! youtu.be/sP8qg9qcV6Q?...

Imagine running like The Haarlock Legacy with Fedora Noir where one person plays the Inquisitor's rosette
When I'm not doing a themed month, my goal for what four games get picked for OUAG follows this rough heuristic: 1) some game I am eager to run 2) a game voted for by the community 3) some queer heartbreaker RPG 4) a game someone else is keen to run Plenty of overlap between the 4 categories.
Sparrowhawk at the school of wizardry on Roke after his accident with the shadow.

The Hazards of Love remains a top 3 album for me and it sure as hell ain't 3rd.
Argosa is the third game to make the Once Upon A Game showcase and it's a doozy! What a cool sword and sorcery dungeon crawler. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJaT...

Next week's OUAG video is none other than Tales of Argosa! The sword and sorcery adventure game. We plumb the depths of the Caverns of Shonnog and brave cyclopean horrors in recovery of holy relics.
Next month on Once Upon A Game is CAPSLOCKtober. Featuring games so cool they need uppercase lettering for their titles to contain their coolness. It'll also feature GMs that aren't myself! Signups for the games starts tomorrow on my discord. Games are played sundays 7pm ireland time
youtu.be/6T1Gm3XqIQo?... DURF is a spectacular little dungeon crawler. It reminds me a lot of OD&D. Both its light dice mechanics and its combat stuff plays as well as it reads. I can't wait for the rest of this book. Dare I say it, I like it more than cairn!

Once Upon A Game is coming back! It's still a friendly one shot variety program but rather than livestreamed and exclusively GMless, we're playing everything and it'll be recorded and edited and released on YouTube.

I dont know how else to put this about climate change but like we all lived through COVID right? There is no plan. No cooperation and no democracy will save the world once it's time for the Food Ration stamps. And that's coming a lot sooner than the real bad stuff like sea levels and extreme weather
The world could always use more ttrpgs that ask you the trilemma of Family, Duty, and Honour.
