I try to plan and outline in advance but I need to be dragged into it kicking and screaming. It’s hard for me to get a feel for characters and story when I am looking at the big picture, I need to be in the scene. But once I write a couple chapters I get a better sense of where I’m going.

I do most of my writing at my day job, and I can’t share a picture of my desk there, but occasionally I do some writing at home with feline assistance. The cat is named Muppet and he was born under the back steps of my old house. He will be 19 in September. #RevPitWaiting

My WIP is Divine Vessels (working title). It’s about a woman who has the god of music dwelling within her. She discovers her husband is alive and imprisoned in an underground labyrinth, sets out to rescue him, and becomes embroiled in a rebellion against the kings of gods and men. #RevPitWaiting

Was hard to choose, but I decided to go with a quote from the villain that sums up the ideology Vreta stands in opposition to: the idea that some people are superior to others by virtue of their birth and therefore entitled to decide the fate of everyone else.

I write fantasy, YA and adult. I wrote my first manuscript circa 1994 at the age of 12 but you’d have to be really generous to call it a book. Started seriously working towards publishing in 2019, after I was diagnosed with ADHD. I also draw pictures. Here’s a scene from my #RevPit entry.
