Simply I will use the torment nexus in a good way. By good way, i mean to not address the slave labour that built the torment nexus, that now torments the slaves with the torment nexus as surely they could girlboss, gatekeep, gaslight their bootstraps up out of slave labour if they really wanted to.

Woman here. I carefully select when to use AI w/ critical thinking & care, factor in its weaknesses & dangers. I don't download silly apps that undress Aunt Edith. I use my head to use AI, like any other tech. I drive a car from A to B, I don't race it in circles. I use a phone to call, not upskirt.

One of the more misogynistic takes currently trending in the AI policy space is "women use less AI than men because they have less tech literacy" Ok but have you considered that women use less AI than men because we have more tech literacy?

I dunno if it's cause I look femme or look younger than I am but I'm having a lot of experiences where I'll say/suggest something, it'll be argued with or rejected by a person with masc privilege and then later, they'll double back and do the thing I suggested.
