Maybe with all the money they'll get by promoting gambling for emotes they'll finally be able to fund some accurate market research and the next feature won't be slop. Anyway, our emotes are site wide and don't use predatory practices like FOMO via watch streaks or gambling to get access to them.

Twitch is testing a loot box system for emotes. These Legendary emotes are 'rare versions of global emotes'. You get a Premium Emote Chest when you Gift Subs. You get a Regular Emote Chest when you hit Watch Streaks. Only available on select channels in the US and Germany.

The alpha for my @altstream.online websocket bridge is available for free on ko-fi. All it requires is java to be installed. There is both a linux and windows version. This allows you to send messages from an #altstream account via websockets. I send websocket messages with #vnyan for my bot.

I am in the process of redeveloping my altstream in c# to make it more efficient and user friendly hopefully. Didn’t have much time this weekend to work on it but Monday I should be able to continue my efforts. In the meantime the java version still should work.

OpenAI and Twitch are teaming up to see what developers can build for the Twitch community with AI. The top five will be featured at Twitchcon.

Twitch continues to do our marketing for us I see. "we don't want to make our own tools, bet we can get someone else to pay for the LLM slop too" - twitch probably. Meanwhile, our site is made by a single human dev with assistance from community members who actually know what they're doing.

I am working on a thing to use with @altstream.online I am using it with #vnyan and websockets, but you should be able to also use it with streamer bot and websockets. This will allow your bot to send messages in altstream chat for redeems and such. I should be able to share hopefully tomorrow

#VNyan 1.7.3b hotfix adds AltStream Tips-node. You can use that if you have Ko-fi webhooks connected to your AltStream account~ Also fixes couple issues with AltStream Shoutout-node
