Moderation processes from my two modules completed successfully with no issues and I cannot tell you how relieved I am. I think once the assessment boards approve marks I am going to need sleep for a week - or drink a whole bottle of Dom Pérignon or something. Then, obviously, sleep.

I think I have finally finished marking for the time being; about 40 days of solid marking and moderating... so making a pause to kind of celebrate that and also say ¡Vamos Méxicooooooooooooooo!

That time of the year in which I argue that one of Musk's greatest achievements was to make academics and intellectuals willingly self-exile from Twitter/X so they'd never find a similar online community again in terms of vibrancy & engagement (and yes, annoyance and toxicity on occasion too).

Can we all agree that the structure "This isn't this. It's that" is as GenAI text as it gets and therefore even if written without GenAI it should be avoided? "This isn't ChatGPT. It's human writing" will no longer do it.
