I have 3 distinct comic memories from childhood, and I don't know the order or which was first. Didn't have a shop around me growing up, but I'd get 1 comic each time we went to the beach in the summer. 1. A Batman Adventures issue that focused on Mr Freeze and maybe his wife? Been a long time.

I forget the exact post, but one of the truest sentiments I've seen about comics is that your first issue shouldn't be Year One or Watchmen or The Dark Phoenix Saga, it should be the eighth installment in a long-forgotten crossover event called like The Mindwar Canticle

Sometimes I think about the high school friend who introduced me to Rage Against the Machine. Last I heard, he was a police officer.

i finished 2025 with 342, which is far less than 2024's 499.. If I counted the uncollected chapters of One Piece, Kagurabachi, Sakamoto Days, Dogsred, and Dandadan, I might be at 350-355. Regardless, I think it's the second highest since I've been keeping track. Which brings me to 2026... 1/
