Found some tracks I hadn't uploaded for the @musicweeklies.bsky.social Magic (November 2024) and Mars (January 2025) challenges. Added them to my Music Weeklies playlist on SoundCloud. Magic I, Magic II, and The View From Phobos. .https://soundcloud.com/esky013_nz/sets/music-weeklies-challenges

I've just thrown another compilation of tracks up on YouTube. This one title "Emotions" is a bunch of more sombre tracks. Cover art was done by me based on some drawings I did to go with poems I wrote at high school. youtu.be/7D9abC4qt_w

Just added an album of 9 pieces on YouTube - Flight Risk. All original pieces recorded between 2017 and 2025. youtu.be/8j2Is2KlF80 Some are guitar instrumentals, other are synth tracks. Some for the @musicweeklies.bsky.social challenges, others just because they appeared in my brain. Enjoy 🎹🎸🤘

I decided to make a start with putting some of my music on YouTube. Uploaded this group of songs today as an album called "Words". It's a bunch of my songs from the last 10 years that I've sung on. Enjoy 🎸🎹🤘 youtu.be/jup0z2I4mOc

!!NEWS!! My new #cinematic #ambient album "Textures" will be out in early January on Monochrome Motif Records ( @hartshornmusic.bsky.social ).

I was playing with Spitfire Audio LABS and found some vocal sounds that I liked. I was going to play some live guitar over it, but found a "bowed guitar" sound that fit the bill perfectly for what I was after. This is the result - Lament. Simple, but I like it. soundcloud.com/esky013_nz/l...

It's been a while since I last posted anything. I made a couple of sombre tracks and added them to Soundcloud - Despair I and Despair II. These have been added to a playlist I've called "Fear of Failure". Got some moodiness out of my system, who knows what's next. soundcloud.com/esky013_nz/s...

Challenge to myself to do one take for the guitar part and one take for the bass. Apologies for a couple of poorly played chords. I present Wednesday Night. I know it's not Wednesday night yet for most of you, but it is here in NZ 😁 soundcloud.com/esky013_nz/w...

For @musicweeklies.bsky.social #ATuneWithAView challenge, based on the van Gogh painting "La Nuit étoilée", I present Twinkle. Hope the mixing's OK. I struggled as the rain on the roof is fairly loud. soundcloud.com/esky013_nz/t...

My 30th @musicweeklies.bsky.social track - Bare Bones. For the #Skeleton theme, it ended up very sparse. I did experiment with using the guitar strings behind the nut, so that was new for me. soundcloud.com/esky013_nz/b...

First post on this platform, so it's going to point to my soundcloud where a whole bunch of my music is 🎤🎸🎹 soundcloud.com/esky013_nz
