My favourite entry is probably "To the Top!" I like how tight it is with the soaring melody and the lower counterpoints. @musicweeklies.bsky.social was a great starting point for composing music with different approaches. I'd love to do it again when I have more time. 😅 youtu.be/DgpnErz9ZLM?...

In 2023, I wrote so many tracks Music Weeklies’ challenges. I’ve been thinking about getting back into these challenges. This here is probably my favorite entry. I struggled HARD with mixing and mastering back then. Still a good piece tho imo 🥰 #composer #indiegamedev #vgm #gamemusic

I’ve made a start on this and it’s shaping up to be a fun one. I’m keen to know if the nod I’ve put in there gets picked by anyone 😃
You thought the battle was over. The final blow has landed, the dust settles, and victory seems certain. Suddenly, the enemy rises once more. The music shifts, the arena transforms, and Phase Two beings. This weeks theme, #PhaseTwo!
Here’s a creepy li’l waltz I made for this prompt. It’s good to be back: youtu.be/-Es6yppA8vM

If you make music and want to work to a new prompt every week, we have been doing this challenge for the best part of 10 years now. Any level is welcome, from total beginner to seasoned pro. This week is #HauntedCarnival! Big thanks to @clementpanchout.bsky.social for making us what we are today!🎉
This is such an impossible task! I like pretty much everything I made but I will go with this one. It’s not the most advanced or complex musically or technically but it has a sentimental value. Call me cheesy😂 stephaniemerchak.bandcamp.com/track/beyond...

I didn't know which track to choose for this, but I've gone with one I did for the Mars theme in January 2025. I guess it's a bit more front of mind than others as I've been half way through a Jupiter themed track for some time now. This is "The view from Phobos" on.soundcloud.com/tlm9W9IAmCyz...

Been participating in Music Weeklies for a couple years now (ever since 2023 iirc!), and while I like a great deal of the material I've written for it, I think "Nitro Blur" speaks to me the most. @musicweeklies.bsky.social and the small but tight community built around it is great! Happy 10th!

I'm super proud of a lot of the pieces I made, and hoping to soon get back in the saddle. But the piece I'm most happy with, that made me realise I can write the #jazz I love is this one: (Don't mind the mixing, though...) #composer

One? Other than time, doubt, work, etc? Ok. Inconsistency. I can make a good track one day, and spend my next 15 tracks being close to awful. It's very discouraging. Ideally, I would like to set aside (or create 2 add'l hours a day) and get a grasp on what works and what doesn't so I can produce.
