Did anyone else in Wales get two emergency alerts about wildfires? The first one in Welsh, which was kind of useless to us who don't speak the language. For all we knew, they could've been telling us that the Russians were attacking and to take cover. The second one 3 mins later was in English.

They can try and put in as many checks and balances as they want, they are collecting data that many will seek to abuse. Predators in their own bloody company are using this to spy on children for fucks sake. This kind of tech attracts the creeps, and is absolutely repellent to normal people.
“Now, Langley predicts, ‘you are going to see more officers fired and more officers arrested for abusing police power.’”
Predate on children. This makes it so much easier for powerful predators to track and abduct any child they take a fancy to, which to be honest, I think is the point. When parents come online to post about their child going missing, they'll start finding that their posts will be shadow banned.
Police have used Flock cameras to stalk their exes, track abortion patients, and spy on protesters—among other abuses. www.commondreams.org/news/police-...
I've been super into Müller rice pudding for the convenience of them. I can just reach into the fridge whenever and have my rice pudding fix, y'know, and it's delicious too. This is a thread btw, so keep reading if you're interested in the meat of this...whatever it is.

Oh good. Looking forward to being charged for thought crimes because of my vivid, intrusive thoughts being recorded and stored remotely in a data centre permanently.
“‘In a couple years, the main way we’ll talk with our AIs is with our thoughts,’ Bashkansky says in her blog post. ‘They will not be a super-smart automated intern or coworker that you desperately try to keep up with. They will be a natural, joyful extension of you.’”
The internet is useless now. Can't find anything. Any idea why a dog would have a metallic smell on his fur? After I pet him, basically anywhere, my hands smell like I've been holding onto pennies or a door key or something. He isn't behaving any differently.
The gnomes in Fable 3 being over-the-top misogynistic to my lady hero is so funny to me.
It's wild to me that, instead of governments cracking down on live streaming while driving properly, they've decided to make live streaming mandatory for all cars going forwards.
I feel awful, like a zombie with a hangover lol. My period cannot start soon enough.
You may not like it, but this is what peak localization looks like (Asterix: Mega Madness (PS1, 2001))
This is some dystopian bullshit. And also a good argument for keeping private info off of the cloud or any online storage space. People might say I’m wild for having several external hard drives for backing up stories and photos but at least I don’t have to deal with this shit.

Welcome to Elderfield is releasing on September 10th on Steam, for those who might be interested in the game.
Idk why rice pudding became my food obsession for the month, but I'm not mad about it.
CHATCONTROL 2.0'S FINAL TRILOGUE IS ON SEPTEMBER 29TH BTW IF IT PASSES IT'S GOODBYE TO PRIVACY AND ANONYMITY FOR GOOD IN THE EU. AI SURVEILLANCE FOR EVERYTHING YOU SAY ONLINE ID REQUIREMENT FOR SHIT AS BASIC AS STEAM ITSELF THE INTERNET WILL DIE.
This goes for the EU as well btw. The EU has chatcontrol 2.0, EUID wallets, social media bans (denmark, ireland, germany, norway? I've lost count of how many are pushing for it). Oppose these bills and push for their repeal if they have passed. #chatcontrol #stopsocialmediabans #savespeech

I got my CD-ROM copy of Fable 3 working on my Legion Go, running SteamOS. It's so fucking cool, man. I thought this would be unplayable forever because of that stupid Windows Live bullshit, but here I am, playing it on a handheld computer. Absolutely bloody mental.
I'd get to buy an awesome gaming PC for a reasonable price again, and the AI-powered surveillance state would be gone? Where do we sign up?
