Truly wonder how many people who convince themselves to vote for a “centrist” are actually quite a bit more progressive in their true beliefs. Can’t escape the feeling that the main thing holding us back from a better world is a carefully constructed mythology that it would be “impractical.”
The young folks aren't that into genocidal centrism.

I think there's a much higher chance of an AOC presidency in 2029 than most pundits believe, and as usual the main obstacle will just be the self-doubt of the tens of millions of people who wrongly believe we need to compromise our own values out of fear, the worst kind of self-fulfilling prophecy.

I still think it's horrifically ironic how many people in the yoga, wellness and spiritual communities twisted their brains into pretzels to "Make America Healthy Again" and the outcome is that none of them--or us--can safely eat salad anymore. Metaphor is a little too on the nose these days.
Shut down data centers, raise the minimum wage (by a LOT), give everyone universal healthcare that's not based on having to keep working jobs they hate, and then maybe we will start building a democracy at last.

This should be obvious by the very definitions of skill and craft, but I’m never going to respect the writing of someone who used AI to generate their prose. “Look at this thing I didn’t even do.” Whatever compels you to it, it’s entirely uninteresting from an observer’s perspective.
The coming stock market crash is going to be…unfun. And this doesn’t even take into account that all of these companies are banking on AI becoming MORE popular with average human users, while in reality, the exact opposite is happening and is almost assured to intensify.

Hunch is we are reaching the part of the movie in the next three months where trump finally destroys the gop. He’s in his Albatross Era. No idea what comes out of this moment but I know the power of collective intention and imagination will determine everything.
