The final parallel sessions of #EUCAS2025 explored cognitive and perceptual changes in aging, complemented by a compelling symposium on taking a complex systems perspective on aging—closing with big-picture thinking and fresh approaches.

The final day of #EUCAS2025 began with keynote speaker Alan Gow on “Translating ‘Factors Associated with Brain Health’ to ‘Factors That Promote Brain Health’: From Observation to Intervention.” A motivating talk on turning insights into action for healthy cognitive aging.

The afternoon continued with parallel sessions exploring individual differences in neural mechanisms and a compelling symposium on subjective views of aging—shedding light on how perception and brain function shape the aging experience. #EUCAS2025

Starting off Day 3 of #EUCAS2025 with a keynote by Michael Wagner on “Subjective Cognitive Decline in Aging and in Alzheimer’s Disease.” A fascinating look at how self-perceived memory issues can relate to early Alzheimer’s risk and the potential for early detection.
