I think in economics we are getting to an interesting place of (relative) epistemic humility about merhods #EconSky. Theory first reigned, then the credibility revolution arrived, and some took it to extremes. And now we are back to a more balanced approach of methodological pluralism. Thoughts?

The vast majority of respondents believe published SCC values to be downward biased. The average "best-guess" SCC ($142 per ton CO2) is more than twice their literature estimate ($60 per ton). Experts substantially underestimate published SCC, at least compared to our findings.
