"I've created a bluesky account for my solar panels" is about as bluesky as bluesky gets Hats off to you, @jamesomalley.co.uk
Good news! I now have solar panels on my house so I am going to be *even more* smug and insufferable than ever. And I've started by creating a Bluesky account for my solar, ripping off @edent.tel's idea, and even re-using his code to do it.

This is why I left UK HE... Few realize how low the standards are even in some prestigious universities. Culture and morale are shot. This is not a way to manage a potentially vital source of growth
Labour is not coming to bail out universities. The revealed preference of UUK and sector leaders is that cuts, redundancies and discipline collapse are a price worth paying, to preserve the ability to recruit unqualified students, without limit, to any course they wish.
It's honestly a real shame because the USA was almost universally liked before this whole Balogun thing
"We appreciate that you must be busy with other commitments, particularly in light of the disruptions caused by the novel coronavirus." says a review request I just got when I woke up and I had to check the date to make sure I wasn't in some horrible inception dream tunnel
Ben Stokes is the best thing that has happened to English cricket. What a gift to the game he has been. Thank you, Ben
To the man who just ordered a Guinness at Stansted Wetherspoons and made sure to specify "a big one, please": bless you
Can someone explain to me the phenomenon of Instagram content creators talking about how important it is we stop spending so much time looking at our phones? Have I just discovered screentimewashing?

These days, if you're a teenager in the UK and you use YouTube to revise for your GCSEs you'll get locked up and thrown in jail
Now if a teenager wants to go on YouTube to revise for their GCSEs they won't be able to because of progress
There are no jobs you say and this generation is going to be worse off than the last and the last one before that? How about: ban on YouTube?
In the UK you can begin training in the armed forces at age 16 but you can't go on Instagram in the evening this is fine and normal
