Christian Moguet brings their lateral flow test to detect DHA AmpC #betalactamase in enterobacterales. Current work shows that the test has high sensitivity and can differentiate between low and high expression of the enzyme, which correlates with resistance phenotype #ESCMIDGlobal

Starting the third day with #rapidAST. What’s new trying to get faster AND better? Julia Rogers presents a new lateral flow test that can detect the presence of an important betalactamase: KP2 #carbapenemase Test like this would be incredibly helpful in low-resource settings!
