What an amazing tribute to Dr. Karen Gale’s legacy. It’s been almost 20 years since I met her at SfN and she “karened” me into the IPN (Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience) at Georgetown. I owe so much to Karen (she also “karened”in my future husband!), and I’m so grateful for mentorship.
