"Irans military claims a US B1 bomber flew from RAF Fairford to join US attacks. Iran said the base is now a legitimate target" Burnham could have stopped the US from using British military bases to wage its illegal war on Iran. But he hasn't.

🫣Residents left in limbo once more. ⬆️⬇️Reform, Tory and Independent councillors blocked any potentially workable solutions and let their obsession with opening Dryden Road to two-way traffic risk the safety of people walking, cycling and wheeling in the area.

❓We're asking Exeter’s Labour administration: where's our money? 🤔 They are sitting on over £1.5m of delayed or unspent developer contributions. 🤷 What is the plan for that money and when will residents see the benefit? ▶ Full story next

This is infuriating crap. He says: “There's increasing evidence that war crimes appear to have been committed.” He knows Israel has committed war crimes on an industrial scale. He’s refusing to say so because it would impose legal obligations on him to actually act.

Investment in our security must reflect the world we live in. Starmer's plan won't be worth the paper it's written on if it doesn't address long term threats we face: not just aggressive foreign powers but cyber attacks, food & water insecurity, pandemics and climate breakdown.

Exeter Green Party stands in solidarity with the Exeter University and College Union in condemning the University of Exeter’s announcement of sweeping job cuts. These plans will recklessly imperil the University’s vital contributions to the social, cultural, and economic life of the city. 1/4

Reminder to any aspiring Prime Ministers: approving new oil and gas licences is a climate crime. It won't deliver energy security and it won't take a penny off our bills. The only way to deliver cheaper, secure, homegrown energy is to invest rapidly in renewable power.

At a time when some seek to divide our communities, let's instead celebrate the simple of acts of courage that bring us together. Remember, we have more in common with someone seeking safety than with the billionaires pointing the finger. Refugees welcome.

REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.

🤷 Labour ministers resign over defence spending but not over government cuts to the international aid budget and climate financing. 🤐 Or on government attempts to hide a key report on the security threats posed by climate breakdown.
