Better art is made when people’s basic needs are met and artists are able to find each other not when you boil a craft down to the speed and quantity at which it’s produced
I find interesting how there seems to be a generally poor opinion of writers writing blatant self-inserts, but almost nobody rises a brow at film directors constantly casting themselves as protagonist actor of their own movies--whose scripts often they wrote themselves as well.
I would FUCKING CELEBRATE! Only limit to my joy would be that, even after getting rid of genAI / LLMs, it will take plenty of time to purge the internet of the billions of slop images, fake news and other toxic trash produced by them in so few years.

Italian Government obviously overreacted to the events in #Ceuta for political reasons of anti-immigrant fear mongering (and, by extension, anti-Left). This also weakens Italy's reliability among our EU partners.
I once rooted through two baskets of loose airbrush parts at an art store to build a working airbrush that I used (along with other airbrushes) for like 7 years. It cost me like four dollars. Comrade, what you doing with this status symbol airbrush? Learn your craft.
