Judged a 5 round rcq today. 4.5 hours start to finish. Has to be the most efficient event I've ever done.
Judging an rcq. Watching a player with grove of the burnwillows and just thinking back to the Carmen/jadine stream where their Tron opponent tapped grove to kill their deaths shadow, untapped it bringing their deaths shadow back into play and then repeated over and over. . Peak mtg stream imo

I was doing pretty well, consistently hitting the gym 5x a week. I lost 10lbs but then I missed a day, then a few days, then over a month. Today we start again.

There's so many big magic events going on this weekend including one in driving distance and I won't be at any of them. Therefore, I plan to live vicariously through you all. GL gamers, I want to see those top 8s.
Not my personal cup of tea but my wife's most listened to artist of last year (Alex Warren) is in town so I had to get us tickets. I will say even though his music isn't for me, id love to see this dude in a musical. I think he'd be fantastic

Had a pretty bad run in the legacy showcase with ub tempo car today. Think I was overall happy with both the play and list but needed to play slightly tighter or get a touch luckier in a few spots. I'm also incredibly bad at drawing the car which is sort of a problem.
Quick 0-2 drop at a modern rcq. Played amulet. Mulled to 4 two different games trying to find a green green source. The other games weren't much better. Very pleased with how easily I was able to just laugh it off and move on

Second post msh league was a disappointing 2-3 with phoenix/fantasticar hybrid. The deck oscillated between wildly broken and unplayable. I was very unsure on how aggressive to mulligan because you want the broken hands but you need the cards. Excited to try more stuff this weekend
