also in the conversation of alters i personally feel that altered/painted @quivertime.com cases should be included as they're a upcoming really cool way for artist to branch out and express! these are just ones ive done but others have done them too!

@modflyalters.bsky.social has been an all-time champion and I own 18 alters from him, myself. He's helped me fulfill the theme of my Warcraft Lich King zombie deck (third photo) with his work.

My fav ways to paint 🎨: 1) art history + culture, fit to card flavor. I’m so proud of this Sol Ring for @shivambhatt.bsky.social 2) MTG game history, as in these painted “playtest” alters 3) border redesigns, as in this alter for @rebell.bsky.social 4) skill tests—this Welder’s flavor text 😅
