Watching elections where it’s gonna be racist vs. racist this November and being thankful I don’t live there

Being an engineer in 2026 I feel for how medical professionals feel when they read reporting or opinions on complex aspects of their field. Oof. And these people vote!!
Obsession II is going to be about all the One Wish Willow lawsuits
More people should give this a try. It’s funky as hell (in a good way).
What is the micro genre called that includes Rolling Thunder, Shinobi, Code Name Viper, and Thunder Jaws, maybe Elevator Action?
Ms Pac Man Maze Madness is a game I need to finish. I liked how they updated it and played it a bit. It was a lot better than many of the other y2k 3d classic arcade resurrections.

What would be better for 486 DX class MS-DOS programming? Rust or Zig? I see there are DOS frameworks available for both.
People need 32GB ram for.. puddle rendering?
The Namco Genesis games do NOT get enough credit. Rolling Thunder 2 and Phelios are both really good, and Burning Force is one of the smoothest rail shooters on the system.
@videogamebeach.bsky.social have you seen this one? bsky.app/profile/exte...
I have always liked the sparkling beach effect in Buggy Boy. It’s made by the same company as TX-1 so hopefully we get this on Arcade Archives I was unable to capture this with video compression but the sparkles seem randomized every few frames.
Ahhh I thought I had only ever gotten a third through Rolling Thunder 2 but that was counting both loops. I can get somewhat close to the end. Also somehow I started a new game and it started me on second loop.
Transverse myelitis has absolutely wrecked my life
Doesn’t FPGA make more sense for systems that can push 60 FPS rather than ones that struggle to hit 20? I thought the big draw was low latency.

I moved my pain meds from night to morning and *still* got really odd, wild, vivid dreams. Hm.
I always thought I had gotten pretty far in Rolling Thunder 2, but I checked a longplay and I maybe have only ever gotten about a third into the game :O it’s very challenging.
The more I think about Obsession, the better it gets and the worse a person Bear is. Great stuff.
Anyone else with chronic pain and fatigue feel unclear on whether they’re able to push through the fog or not? Like “is this real fatigue or is it just that I haven’t really woken up for the day”
This is my favorite one button stick: the Wico Ergostick. It builds off the Epyx 500XJ stick by adding more spacing for fingers to rest upon, a button which requires less force to press, and a rubber outer casing that prevents slippage. It’s microswitched.
True story, this is the photo Crammond based the entire videogame on. Honest.

I often see people argue that Star Wars 1977 was for kids, but I am almost sure that is a Baby Boomer inner child movie more than anything.
I remember telling my third grade teacher that I can just run the spelling homework through a spellchecker and she was not happy. Anyway, I am a good speller. 🤷
