English artist and illustrator Walter Crane was born #OnThisDay in 1845 Best known for his children’s book illustrations, Crane was inspired by a wide range of artistic styles, from Japanese colour prints to the work of William Morris and John Ruskin. Which influences can you spot in these works?

I've been out with my old team from work. We had such a laugh! I miss them, and I don't miss what the job had become, bittersweet time. Feel so fortunate to have been able to do this. They gave me a £150 JL voucher as a leaving present. I'm a bit taken aback by their generosity.
