The cover art is a re-working by Peter Mennim of The Raft of the Medusa by the French Romantic painter Théodore Géricault, completed in 1819. The original painting hangs in The Louvre in Paris.
The way Eli Roth talks about creative vision and going on his own outside the studios to make a "good horror film," saying it all obviously before people started tearing THE ICE CREAM MAN a new corn chute, is really rather haunting.
I have read many books that I thought were hilarious, but I rarely laugh out loud while reading.
Corey Atad@coreyatad.com · 2d agodo you ever have strong, palpable, emotional responses to books while reading? i'll chuckle occasionally, and sometimes a suspenseful passage will have my heart racing a bit, but for example i can't say i've ever teared up or cried while reading a book

Knitters already know what exact forces keep knits together and can tell by *touch* when they're not right lol. He also got a lot of other stuff wrong, e.g. the oldest known knit socks.
