I love elections. I love voting. I appreciate as a woman my right to vote was hard fought for. It's why I vote in every election national level to school board. So please hear me when I say show up in November even more so than you did for primaries. Democracy depends on our voice and votes.

I used to think pretty code was good, then I grew up and realized it's just representative of logic that lives in my head, and the syntax is irrelevant. If what I write in JavaScript can also be done in C#, Python, PHP, Java, Go, and other languages, what difference does it make if it's pretty?

1) Artisinal code is unfortunately meaningless. The industrialization of our craft is improving quality. So, this is irrelevant. 2) “The point is the code” vs “The point is the software”
