Igaligdlit (singular: Igalilik) are a race of nonhuman inlanders in Inuit mythology. They carry pots on their shoulders, that somehow cooks the meat in it while they're carrying it. I wonder if the pots are similar to the sacks, pouches & baskets many monsters use to carry off their human victims.

Every once in a while, it's time to shed your skin and start anew. Choose a new form, and don't hold back this time. The world needs new talkative badgers in tweed suits, and new witches in the woods, murmuring incantations in mossy shadows.
According to Pausanias, Ithome was a Messenian nymph & one of the nurses of Zeus when he was a baby, alongside Neda, another nymph. Mount Ithome in Greece is named for her.
