I never open up to anyone about how i have been doing mentally except to one of my best friends. But I had my bi-yearly physical recently and told my doctor that I have been recently self harming due to stress and self hate, breaking down in tears. Most likely looking into therapy to get help….

This is prejudice, this is ableism. You cannot say shit like this and claim that you are progressive and open and loving and tolerant. This DOES NOT describe autistic people; this describes *assholes*, and being an asshole is NOT a trait exclusive to autistic people. Fuck off.

If you attribute negative personality traits to autism, absolutely fuck yourself. People from all walks of life are getting way too damn comfortable talking shit about autistics, and I need you to unlearn "acceptable" prejudices against neurodivergent people NOW, because there's no such thing.
