Based on the interview between Nintendo, IntSys, and Kyou Kazurou in Engage volume 8, it’s clear they have a very strong connection, and are all very pleased with how Engage’s manga turned out, so it’s really no surprise Kyou is in charge of the FW manga as well.

I had a realization yesterday that The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a great allegory for Generative AI. Mickey pawns off work to an autonomous force only to have that force mindlessly use keep doing that very thing and destroy everything while using up plenty of perfectly good water in the process
