Something fun's going on in the bottom margin of GA 2675 (Holy Monastery Panagia Kato Xenia MS 14, 14th century) on this page of Ephesians, but I'm not quite sure what! I thought it might be a practice alphabet, but it doesn't look like the Greek alphabet to me. Any ideas?

On further look, the scribes were different. No reason to think texts are same. The cover ms is ruled; the spine ms not. Line spacing differs. Letter forms differ - d (horizontal bar in cover), final s (long s in the spine ms), Tironian et (uncrossed; only on spine), 9 used for con in cover ms, etc.

#Medieval_Paleography. Two different #manuscript_fragments cover this Quintilian (Lyon 1538). One wraps the book. A smaller fragment from Liber Sextus, L. 5, T. 2, C 18, covers the spine. I have given up on the wrapper. Seems to be legal, but not from Sextus - maybe a Corpus Juris commentary?

Federal crews at the Kennedy Center were forced to rig up a giant white plastic wall at 3 AM just to block the public from seeing Donald Trump's name get pried off the building. He is such a shameful fraud that he had to hide his defeat in the pitch black. What a coward.
