great read on the film, and clarifies a thought I've been having that Nolan wanted to "have his cake and eat it too" with this characterization of Odysseus. These men have to do something so bad that they ruined the world, but it can't be bad in a way that impedes our uncomplicated rooting for them

might be anecdotal but I've never seen more examples online of people taking out their phones during a film screening than with The Odyssey. Just a bunch of people wanting to show off that they got IMAX tickets and are fully recording the screen instead of watching the movie
there are people out there who have already gotten the chance to see THE END OF OAK STREET and HOPE and I am so jealous

I lowkey relate to Odysseus because just recently I had my flight canceled and had to wait an extra 12 hours in the airport for the next plane home
This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.
My flight back home got canceled so I have 12 extra hours to kill ama
