my backup living room PC was graphically glitching out and i couldn't figure out why. it has some older Nvidia graphics, but it was still supported, no? welp, i had a spare Nvidia card which i swapped it with, GTX 950, runs smoothly. i looked at the glitching one, a GTX 650... from 2012.

new tactic with the e-bike repair, parallel threads, while i go along with the e-bike vendor shucking and jiving me via email tag, i'm simultaneously prepping my old direct drive kit so it's ready to go as a repair kit.

got to use my fancy-schmancy handy new cordless driver to re-lace my old direct drive motor to the newer rim. discovered one spoke that needs replacing, and i'll have to true the rim/tighten spokes, but i'll save that for tomorrow. that puts Plan B at the ready for the e-bike repair.
