Ngl I look down on those who let an LLM write for them. The longer the text, the worse it is to me.

As I get older, my to-do list is only growing and never shrinking. And I'm not okay with this.
I take my implied criticism back, Svelte is cool! I projected my disdain for people who shit on React for all the wrong reasons. Different tools make different mistakes hard to make, and I prefer to err on the side of correctness in exchange for maybe speed and bundle size. But the tradeoffs exist.

I saw some store refactors and now one thing is changing multiple things. Classic inconsistency problem. I know everyone loves to shit on React but you don't get bugs like these with it.

My AI enthusiasm ebbs and flows. Today I’m realizing that some of my perceived productivity increase is an illusion. I merely moved some of the effort from writing code to having to micromanage a coder.

When I decided to invest in running local models, my expectation was that these models would get better and I could survive a rug pull when cloud providers decide it’s not worth giving theirs away for free or cheap. I honestly didn’t expect this to happen this soon.
Going from GPU-poor to GPU-middle-class, with no intention of becoming GPU-rich (as I don't want to become rich-rich either)

I’m getting more and more ambitious with NixOS, will I ever stop? It’s like an addiction
My NixOS adventures are going great! I have a Pi-Hole (actually crab-hole) setup for DNS level adblocking that’s set up via Tailscale so no client setup is necessary. Also set up hostapd so I may end up selling my Wifi router if it works out. NixOS is so simple and liberating!
