We won't know what we've lost until it's gone.
Michael has been showing me JJBA since I had never seen it before, and we just passed the halfway point for part 5, and I'm noticing a theme for this series, which begs the question... Do paternity tests not exist in this universe, or is there a specific Stand that makes people not consider it?
I feel like I have a particular privilege of having never seen JJBA before now but having finished JJk and MHA because, oh my god, Sukuna is such a love letter to Dio it's honestly maddening. Also, Baron Zeppili's ripple has to be what inspired Gentle Criminal's quirk. He HAS TO BE.
I'm watching JJBA for the first time with my boyfriend, and we are about to start part 2 of Stardust Crusaders, iirc? I know from the namesake of the show I was in for a wild ride, but an episode dedicated to Duel (1971) by Steven Speilberg wasn't on my bingo sheet. 10/10 no notes. This is so fun.
Had the best birthday ever yesterday while at #portconmaine this past weekend. I had the pleasure of meeting the incredible @sonicmega.bsky.social and able to give him some art I made a while back. Seeing and hearing the joy in his reaction to it feels like it healed something deep inside of me.
