If I disappear from here, it is not because I don't like you all, but because an influx of bawbags will have taken the fun out of it.
I once worked on a site with Hellenistic (6th century BCE) sling bullets, early post medieval round shot, Second World War .303 and 6.5mm Carcano bullets (spent) and modern 7.62 Soviet (also spent). I have a photo of them all lined up, but it is in the archive somewhere (on 35mm slide)

Not a humorous #thread, this one, but interesting nonetheless. I didn't know sales from independent bookshops don't count towards (meaningless) rankings.
Changed my bio here to "ex-bestselling author" as I'm a big pedant for factual accuracy.

Ok. There is one more detail. Of course, the actions of the Israeli government in commiting genocide didn't help. But you don't have to hand it to bigots when their bigotry finds a something they can point to. You are either against genocide on principle or you are not against genocide at all.
How? Because there was no substantial movement within the anti-war/anti-genocide/Free Palestine faction to call out and drive away hatred of Jews. That's how. It was too much work and bad for business. And it sowed rampant antisemitism.

Outright nazi salutes at the “anti immigration” protest in Glasgow. One of the arrested “protectors of women and children” has been exposed by his ex partners as an abuser himself. Will the government do anything about this, or will they keep arresting grans for protesting against genocide?
