There's still some stuff I need to edit and some fish I want to redraw but, after 985 days, I finished my big dumb fish project last night.

I have the unusual experience of having been in cognitive decline from liver failure during this then getting a transplant, so experiencing the texts while mentally vulnerable then while mentally competent.

It’s a horrific model. Consultants get generationally wealthy, and the party hollows out its future.

This is a little relevant for my own transplant. My donor was a large man with a large liver, and fewer than 1% of people on the transplant list could have fit that liver, which saved my life (though we were also very compatible, same blood type with only 1 of 12 additional antibodies reacting)
