I really hate the “I don’t owe anyone anything” mentality because we actually owe each other and this planet a lot. You don’t have to be selfless all the time or burn yourself out but you should be kind and helpful and compassionate to the best of your ability. We need to care about each other more

Can actually feel my mental health healing a bit lately ❤️ Am slowly starting to enjoy things properly again and it's so great! That's what the correct medication is doing for ya i guess~ Now if my sleep also were fixed i'd be productive af - until then i'm still tired :'D

hating your art is not a virtue, it's a sign of burn out or mental illness. the same way your muscles ache if you exercise too much or your stomach hurts if you're starving. learn to identify it as a sign you're pushing too hard or expecting too much of yourself somehow and check in with yourself.

About one month ago i finally took the step of getting to know more people and making more friends. Goddamn, one of the best decisions i've ever made for my mental health! Turns out i'm not even introverted but instead just have been super socially anxious about taking a step forward all the time :O

When working on a large, complex and time intensive piece, don't forget to draw small and simple stuff for yourself as well! I've had it happen way too often that i just felt veeeery burned out because i didn't do that at times. Also helps a lot with staying in practice!

As I see more friends fall victim to this discord hack, I remind people that if someone asks you to download their new game out of the blue, right now, because it will only take a couple minutes, after "catching up" for a minute It's a hack, and they will take over once you download that file.
