FE: Vampire Weekend Redux @fevampireweekend.bsky.social · 5d ago

Hey 👋 Now that we're coming to the end of #FEvampireweekend we wanted to make a statement regarding the future "Redux" event. Thank you to everyone who assured this event was successful despite circumstances!! Sadly, I must return to being a responsible adult and give up my nocturnal ways. 😔

Announcement:

Firstly, We want to thank the artists and especially authors who have already chosen to share their FE: Vampire Weekend fanworks despite the unfortunate circumstances.

When we envisioned this event six weeks ago, we genuinely weren't certain it'd go anywhere. So getting the privilege of seeing the gradually building excitement of both artists and writers—as well as their WIPs—over the past month and a half, has been an absolute delight. It cannot be overstated how pivotal everyone's participation has been in this events success!

On Thursday Oct 29/2026, when we decided that the show must go, we mentioned that in the (hopefully very) near future we would post a FE: Vampire Weekend "Redux" event. The idea is to allow authors to highlight their efforts, and post their creations, once AO3 has been restored. This is regardless of whether they participated during the 10/30–11/01 event period.

As we still don't have details on when AO3 will be restored to a posting state, we do not have a date for said "Redux" event at this time. However, we anticipate it being ready to launch within days of AO3 coming back online, therefore we wanted to discuss what that will look like.

As many know, the two of us are writers. We understand the anxiety many authors are actively experiencing over what will happen regarding fan interactions on their stories in a few weeks time. These concerns run the gamut: From worries about how sharing now may take away kudos/comments in the future, to that waiting to post may result in less interest because the excitement has worn off, to that their efforts might be lost in the flood of new fics/chapters that will be released.

We want to try to put the authors who participated (both who posted during the event, and those who waited) at ease. When the "Redux" event goes live, we're planning to include a free, community-driven raffle where there will be a limited number of art/writing prizes donated by other members of the FE fandom.

The rough way this would work is that every one(1)* comment made on a story that is part of the AO3 FE: Vampire Weekend collection would be considered one(1) raffle entry. At the end of the event period, names would be compiled and input into a program, such as funraise. Or just done the old fashion way and drawn out of a hat. (It'd be a cowboy hat, if that matters.)

As with everything, more information will follow in the coming days as we flesh out the details! Finally, while we've already had several people graciously volunteer their talents to the prize pool, if anyone is interested in contributing they are free to reach out to Zee (brainwormexpert) for an idea of what we're considering for prizes.

Thanks. 🖤

*clarification: multiple comments by a single person, on the same story would count as one(1) entry in total.

[ #fe3h | #sylvix ] for #FEvampireweekend | DAY2: (Blood) Lust messy eater.

A sketch of Sylvain and Felix from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, post-timeskip, in a vampire AU with Sylvain as a human and Felix as a vampire.
They are kissing each over, open mouthed, blood on their tongues and messily smeared around their mouth and chin. Felix is gripping Sylvain's shirt and keeping him close with one hand on his nape. Sylvain is gently touching Felix' jaw, angling his face to kiss him.
Small text next to Sylvain reads: Easy, I got you Sweetheart

The same picture as the 1st ont but in greyscale this time, with only the blood in colors.

Die Sweetly Into Mine Chapter Three🦇 escapingeveline.dreamwidth.org/2551.html #FEvampireweekend

A childhood crush.

Felix felt his fists tremble with emotion that he was unwilling to let loose. A stupid childhood obsession that carved its way into a young boy’s heart and buried itself deep. That planted itself and twisted in his chest at the mere thought of his mysterious Prince, his heart forever a fragile thing.

Even that day, when Felix had spotted the man that looked more of a beast in the window. Even then, he had wanted—

He felt his body flush again. And hoped it would be mistaken for fury.

Lyska@escapingeveline.bsky.social · 6d ago

Chapters 1 and 2 of my Vampire AU are now available on dreamwidth for #FEvampireweekend 🦇 If all goes well, chapter 3 should be up before the clock strikes 12!👻 Die Sweetly Into Mine -> escapingeveline.dreamwidth.org/1733.html#cu...

“You’ve grown.”

His chest clenched. That young boy that he’d long ago left behind, rearing his head again.

“Yes, well. You’re —“ he paused. Dimitri had changed. He looked tired now, his gaze just a little faded, like he was consistently thinking about somewhere far away, just not quite in the present.

He met his gaze, now just one eye staring back.

The blue of it still captured him. Seeming brighter now with the black armor he wore, skin protected from toe to neck. He was dressed as if ready for battle. On a snowy night where no attacker would dare come for him.

But he was still the same.

Over 20 years had passed since he had first met Dimitri, curled up in his library, looking like a man from a painting, features chosen to be the epitome of youth and royalty. If Felix had kissed his skin, he would come away with fresh paint on parted lips. Red like the blood that pounded in his chest at the compulsion.

Felix’s eyes narrowed.

“You’re exactly the same.”

a post-AM vampire AU
fe3h | dorothea/sylvain | 7.2k | E

tags: vampire/human relationship, angst, hurt/comfort, explicit sexual content, suicidal thoughts, addiction, power imbalance, unrecruited dorothea

-

In the wake of Edelgard von Hresvelg’s defeat, Fódlan is immediately beset by a new trial: the Affliction, a condition of unknown nature originating in Enbarr. Symptoms of this bizarre illness include an aversion to sunlight, a weakness to silver, and—most importantly of all—a taste for blood, and nothing else. As winter descends, bringing long nights and perilous weather with it, the Kingdom scrambles to get the crisis under control.

By some small miracle, Sylvain Gautier has managed to subdue an Original Afflicted—and in a dark twist of fate, his captive is none other than former imperial soldier Dorothea Arnault. Over five years after they stood together as classmates, this unlikely pair must reconcile their differences and confront their old feelings for each other as they unravel the mysteries of the Affliction firsthand.

As if that isn’t difficult enough, there’s yet another complication for them to contend with: Dorothea has become hopelessly addicted to Sylvain’s blood.

The Covenless

Hubert/Bernadetta, M

Summary: Many centuries ago, Fodlan was gripped by a terror: groups of blasphemers, calling themselves Covens, which once boasted the power of immortality. In the Goddess' name, they were purged by the Church, their legacy naught but fables. Now, the Hresvelg family line has been beset by a strange ailment, which jeopardizes Adrestia's future. Determined to find a cure, Hubert ventures into the Oghma Mountains, chasing rumors that those secrets may not be as buried as the Church had hoped.

#mercedue | #FE3H | #fic Happy Halloween! I offer you human Mercedes x vampire Dedue for this lovely #FEvampireweekend 🦇

Mercedes pushed open the window, sighing in relief when the cool air brushed against her skin. “I know Mother said to keep it closed at night,” she said into the silence, “But I can’t stand this stuffy heat any longer! Surely just a moment will be all right…”

Behind her, the shadows lengthened.

Mercedes leaned upon the sill. Her silky white nightgown clung to her body as she peered out into the night. “Ah, but after all that has happened, perhaps Mother is right.” She clasped her hands to her chest, eyes fluttering closed. “I sure hope no big, strong vampires sneak into my room to ravish me!”

The room was silent. Her pronouncement lingered in the still air.

After a long moment, someone coughed politely.

Mercedes let out a muted shriek. She spun around to face the man now standing at the far side of her room. The shadows hid his face, but even in the darkness she could see his broad shoulders and white hair that gleamed like moonlight.

“You…!” She pointed at the stranger with a shaking hand. “You must be the vampire! The one who has seduced countless maidens these past few months! You are, aren’t you?”

The vampire remained in the shadows, his posture straight and stiff. “…Yes,” he said eventually, in a low, flat voice. “I am…he.”

With a delicate gasp, Mercedes swooned onto the nearby daybed. She pressed a hand to her forehead, exposing her long, bare neck and the pale expanse of her bosom, hardly constrained by her nightgown. “Oh my. And now you are here to claim me—a poor, defenseless maiden!”

She watched with bated breath as the vampire finally stepped out from the shadows. The strong lines of his face came into sight, illuminated by the moonlight. He studied her, green eyes flashing even as his expression remained alluringly stern.

“My, but no one mentioned how handsome you are,” Mercedes said breathlessly. The vampire’s cheeks darkened. “Alas! I am thoroughly under your spell, my lord vampire.” She arched her back, noting how his gaze darted from her throat to her chest, before settling resolutely on her face. “I am powerless to resist your charms. Please, just take me now!”

She closed her eyes and waited. Even in the utter silence of the room, Mercedes couldn’t hear the vampire move. But she felt his breath upon her throat, warm and sudden, sending shivers down her spine. Her pulse pounded, bosom heaving with anticipation. Any moment and his fangs would pierce her skin, sharp pain fading into pleasure, and then—

Mercedes cracked open an eye. The vampire was staring at her neck with furrowed brows, so close and yet decidedly not biting into her vulnerable flesh.

“Ahem.” She cleared her throat. “Ah! It would be so easy for a vampire to take advantage of a weak, innocent maiden like me!”

But instead of claiming her, the vampire pressed his lips together and looked away. “I…”

He was uncomfortable. More than she’d realized. In an instant, Mercedes rested her hand upon his face. “Dedue,” she said seriously. “Is something wrong?”

“It is too dangerous,” he said with a stern glance in her direction. “To bite you. Especially your throat. If I lose control…”

Mercedes held in her sigh. It was hardly the first time Dedue had said such things in the months since they’d started dating. He could be quite stubborn when he wanted to be, particularly when it came to his belief that he was a monster. It was rather silly in her opinion, but perhaps he simply needed a reminder of the truth.

“Dear.” Mercedes sat up, squishing his face lovingly between both hands. She smiled cheerfully. “Don’t forget that I can cast Seraphim at any time, killing you instantly! Really, I’m not the one in danger here.”

Dedue snorted despite himself. He smiled back, wry but affectionate. “That is true.”

“I’m glad we can agree,” Mercedes replied, stealing a quick kiss. When she pulled back, the tension had left Dedue’s shoulders. “Now, let’s get back to where we were!” She fell down onto the daybed, widening her eyes feigned innocence. “Ah, my lord vampire! I can resist you no longer. Please have mercy and ravish me with all haste~!”

Heat flashed in Dedue’s eyes. He lowered his mouth to her throat, fangs brushing over her exposed skin. “As you command,” he murmured, and bit.

There's one stand—a new one, he thinks—with a hand-drawn sign that reads Cichol's Armory and, in smaller text below, Experimental Archaeology and Blacksmithing. "Ooh," he says beelining for it, and feels the back of his neck heat up when he realizes he said ooh aloud.
There's a person manning the stall; she's very short, shorter even than Annette. Her green hair is in two drill pigtails and, contrary to the ancient and medieval weapons on display, she's in an elaborate floofy black ballgown with green lace trim a few shades darker than her hair. Between her height and a round, cute face, her age is indeterminate, but she has the same neon orange 20+ wristband over her lace fingerless glove that Felix got when he came in.
