Don’t say we didn’t warn you: Once religious schools accept taxpayer funding, politicians will use those public dollars to dictate their theology. The wall between church and state doesn’t threaten religion. It protects religion from government control, too.

The "fatal" mistake is confusing America's religious diversity with a mandate for Christian rule. The First Amendment rejects that idea.
Nobody is stopping churches from preaching, praying, or worshipping. The Constitution protects that. What it doesn't protect is turning the government into an arm of the church.
Funny how the people most eager to remove books are so often the ones who haven't bothered to read them. But, to be fair, they don't seem to read books at all.

It's probably worth noting that the four most evangelical states (AL, OK, MS, AR) consistently rank near the bottom in health, education and overall quality of life, while the four least evangelical (UT, MA, RI, NH) consistently rank near the top.

Despite years of anti-LGBTQ+ campaigning from many religious leaders, support for marriage equality has risen across every religious group shown here.
The claim that Christians automatically possess superior moral standards is contradicted by history and everyday reality. Atheists don't need a deity to recognize that human beings have intrinsic worth, can suffer, and deserve equal rights.
Atheists consistently show up, organize, donate, protest and participate. Imagine what we could accomplish if even more secular Americans got involved.
"Judeo-Christian" is one of Christian nationalism's favorite euphemisms. It's meant to imply broad religious consensus while only advancing the priorities of conservative Christianity.
