In the weekly GVP report from May 14th, the Rabaul Volcano Observatory and some addition sources indicate that the eruption started on May 8th. It seems that the eruption location match the 1972-eruption location. 🔗 volcano.si.edu/volcano.cfm?... #actu #eruption #science #volcano
