I had a great time at the Graveyard Shift show at The Twisted Spine in Brooklyn! Here I am making some independent bookstore jokes (from a place of love).

I successfully led a postcard writing campaign here in MA in conjunction with dozens of our wonderful indie bookstores to help get our Freedom to Read law passed, and it worked! If you're a CA resident and can fill out a postcard, I urge you to do it.

I write a LOT of nonfiction. I'm trying hard to get some more fiction pieces in the works after I turn in this next book. I really want to see my work in bookstores and in the hands of general audiences instead of just students/professors.

Currently writing an outline for a #StarWars project that will likely sit on my hard drive and never see the light of day, but I'm compelled to write it anyway. If someone has a connect that I could pitch this to, I think it would be worth their while. I'd love to get paid to write this!

Almost 1k words in the WIP so far today. I'm trying hard to buckle down to meet this looming deadline. I don't know how some people do this, run their lives properly, and work additional 9-5 traditional jobs. Maybe that's why some people take 10 years to write their books and I'm at 1-2 a year?
