One of Coleridge's most beautiful "conversation" poems, "This Lime-Tree Bower My Prison" is addressed to the essayist Charles Lamb, an intimate friend and lifelong admirer of the poet. I'm trying to find a video I saw on here this morning of a Canadian man speaking on stage at a conference(?) about US leadership lacking an understanding of what belonging to a country means. That they have no sense of duty to country, so belonging is another term of ownership. Anyone see this?
