i otherwise agree with mozilla's stance but quoting this with an immediate correction: Chrome does not use Gemini cloud models for the prompt API like said in the video, it's all local-only, just, naturally, a rushed AI-powered feature has a lot of buggy bullshit (see the replies on the post)

TBH I think a lot of the Wafrn jank is more from the UI than anything? The only "serverside" jank if you can even call it that is that it doesn't do link embed renders on the Bluesky side.
I think I keep going on and off about whether I should use Wafrn or Bluesky but I think Wafrn wins from its ability to have longer posts, and its interoperability between ATProto (well, Bluesky) and ActivityPub. I can see more home-grown projects springing up combining the two that'l[...]

yeah that Jaiden vid was very good. She was worried about people judging her for making the vid but honestly, she came about the subject in an empathetic way while still explaining the benefits of her lifestyle choice. And she wasn't trying to be preachy about it.

Well, the difference between Ukraine and Israel is that Ukraine hasn't brought the contest to disrepute. They played fair, they're not trying to astroturf votes (not even in 2022) and their support has always been natural. To compare the two at all, whatever side you're on, is apples to oranges.
