I recently really enjoyed @mschav.bsky.social's talk at #ZuriHac so I tried to reproduce this chart in Sabela (a Jupyter-notebook-like project for #Haskell) seems like this Mbappé guy is not so bad either! 🤭

#YusupovChallenge update: book 6, chapter 13 (the double bishop sacrifice) completed! Interesting chapter, I did not know this pattern and also that Lasker was the first to discover it! #chesspunks

After reading “50 mistakes you should know” I started to categorise my errors in tournament games. One that came up often was “failure to find the silent defense” or also “prophylaxis”, but in one of my latest games I was able to play these amazing moves, chess improvement is subtle! #chesspunks
Lichess should be back online. According to Cloudflare, "a fix has been implemented" and they "believe the incident is now resolved". We will continue to monitor the situation: www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/8g... We apologize again for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Hola a todas, estoy intentando buscarles casa a estos gatitos que se ha quedado solitos porque su dueña ha fallecido. Son muy caseros y cariñosos y no entienden porque ahora están solos en una casa vacía.
#YusupovChallenge update: book 6, chapter 12 (dont be too hasty!) This endgame chapter was challenging and in this particular ⭐️⭐️⭐️ puzzle, the author expected me to find a move that even the great Petrosian could not find 🫠🫠🫠 To my relief, I played the same as he, even if its not the best #chesspunks
#YusupovChallenge update: book 6, chapter 11 (black against the Reti, white against the King’s Indian) completed with good score! 😎 This time I’m a little pissed: my idea in this puzzle, Nb5! is not even considered as a possibility in the authors solution and SF even prefers it! #chesspunks
#YusupovChallenge update: book 6, chapter 10 (the lawn phalanx) completed! Luckily the author also features some game he lost, even if they were against such legends as Karpov! White to move and win, not easy at all! #chesspunks
“Preparing for two classical games against Praggnanandhaa 🇮🇳 took me just 10 minutes — all on my phone! I didn’t even use my laptop,” said Daniil Dubov after winning against Pragg in the Round 4 tiebreaks of the #FIDEWorldCup in #Goa
