This is definitely the kind of thing that people are going to have to see, think about for a second, and then go “ah, that makes sense. I should start doing that instead if trans people say that’s how it should go” Kind of like using ‘they’ for someone and then learning their real pronouns, yknow?
Something that pisses me off is when a transitioned Jax is labeled as "TransJax" especially when it's compared to "boy" or "normal." you've got the terminology completely wrong. Jax is ALWAYS trans. No matter how you dress them up. A better term would be Fem Jax, because she's presenting femininely.
We cant expect something called a cloud to be everlasting. Also, considering no database of Black writings/articles exist atm its gonna be up to us to maintain our own creations in our own way & not rely on corpo entities to do these things. Our future is in our hands. In theirs its cannon fodder
Something important to note: BET is owned by Paramount Skydance & tbh I’m kinda shocked something like this didn’t happen sooner. I’m also reminded of what happened w/ Ebony mag a while back. I hope this makes more Black folks take the time to archive our own materials to the best of our abilities

Oh boy do I ever have feelings about this. I was raised in a household & attended schooling where art was ABSOLUTELY a competition and I got left at the start line every time. As an adult I eventually ended up in IRL artistic spaces that were the same way. All I was ever good for was Carrying Water.
