Small rant: If you do a podcast and you bake in ads or do non-show related/adjacent ad reads, your podcast is bad. I *really* shouldn't hear an ad about AI/dubious apps on a AI-critical and tech-centered podcast or online Casino gambling when listening to the history of grifters, c'mon man.
Brought Hope to the vet. Didn't like the ride over nor liked being restrained (she yodeled so loud the entire clinic heard it 😭). Was fine getting blood drawn (tested negative!) and getting a vaccine shot. Now to wait for the stool results.

Extremely depressing hearing Some Guys on the country radio at work effectvely say "ah man these nerds say the climate crisis is 500 years away! No need to worry about it for my children or what these shmucks say." meanwhile i see some people in texas posting being boiled alive by 110°F+ temps.
As someone who rides motorcycle and tries to find the little niche places, a silly idea I've always had is to visit every single *county* park in my homestate of minnesota. Not state parks. Not federal ones either. But the humble, often over looked county parks scattered across the state.
