I use hledger to track my personal finances. But I always had one problem, the dashboard from `hledger ui` and `hledger bs` in terminal are quite minimalistic, and it was hard to show to my family. ldash is giving me financial insights inside my Terminal. flutter-explained.dev/posts/ldash/

I started today my first parent initiative and hope I can make the world a tad bit better, public #toilets in Germany are super rare and I have to go with my children always in the bushes to pee. I really hope to change that and get some public toilets in my living area and #playgrounds.

I love #programming so much, sitting in the evening and want to create just a small tiny thing and voilá 3 hours later and finished. It is so cool to see your ideas coming to live, I really hope that AI does not take that away from me :)

I had an idea that I really would like to pursue, what would you think about E-Mail Porto. A system where the sender needs to pay a small fee to receive it in the "real" inbox. This would finally get rid of so much spam. Bots could not pay it and mass emails would not be worth is. #email #ideas

Nightshade: Protecting Copyright

Since their arrival, generative AI models and their trainers have demonstrated their ability to download any online content for model training. For content owners and creators, few tools can prevent their content from being fed into a generative AI model against their will. Opt-out lists have been disregarded by model trainers in the past, and can be easily ignored with zero consequences. They are unverifiable and unenforceable, and those who violate opt-out lists and do-not-scrape directives can not be identified with high confidence.

Puh my local database package in Flutter is sadly discontinued. Now I have to migrate, always quite a hassle to carry around for one version 2 different databases.

Right now there are a lot of new eyes on Signal, and not all of them are familiar with secure messaging and its nuances. Which means there’s misinfo flying around that might drive people away from Signal and private communications. 1/
