He’s been locked up in the barn recovering from an illness and this is his first time in the sun for a month…

RIP Jackie 💔

We only rate dogs. This is a very fast tater tot. Please stay out of the way as he clearly has places to be, and only send dogs. Thank you... 12/10 (IG: choppertp)

This is Chubbers. He is catching a wave. But more importantly, catching a vibe. 14/10 (IG: nataliepaigebentley)

The other dog was communicating to him to head that direction and it was just a wonderful display of teamwork and trust. 🥹

This is Rocky. He just stopped by for a quick mid-zoom check in. Seems like everything is fine though, so he'll be off. Good chat. 13/10 (IG: rockyybowboa)

Look who popped by for a visit! After more than four months away, ex-orphan Naipoki and her son, Nsimba, returned to Voi. The dependent orphans were so excited to see the little baby they couldn't leave him alone. Eventually, Naipoki had to step in. www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/news/updates...

Omg a little hummingbird just visited my Mexican Sunflower!!! It stayed for quite some time, probing the flower head almost with the strength of a woodpecker! It probed and drank for a good 3 minutes before being scared off by a passing car. When it flew off, drops of nectar fell from its beak!

This is Penny. She came up with her own trick. Really hopes you like it, and will repeat it as many times as necessary until you acknowledge that you do. 14/10 (IG: pennycorgipoo)

This is Arlo. He was on a walk when he found a missing and injured dog by following a trail of blood. We're awarding Arlo and his keen nose with our highest honor, a 15/10.

We only rate dogs. This is a whirlpool. Please don't get too close. It is quite powerful. Still 13/10 (IG: goldenbabybasil)

This is Maple. She closes her eyes while enjoying ice cream in order to really savor the moment. Also believes it prevents brain freeze. Just can't prove it yet. 12/10 (TT: maplethechocolatesausage)

This is Freddy and Ozzy. They are transferring data. Please do not disrupt them until the process is complete. 13/10 for both (TT: whatfreddyretrieves)

This is Stevie. He has cerebral ataxia. He doesn’t know it. He just loves living.

This is Eddie. He has been waving for over a decade and has gotten pretty good. Can even do it with both paws. 13/10 #SeniorPupSaturday (IG: the_adorable_eddie)

This is Buzz. He performs a big stretch ritual before enjoying his daily ice cube. Please do not interrupt. 14/10 (IG: goldenhrbuzz)

Groot the cat interacting with a memorial portrait of his companion, a dog named Cleo who passed away. Animals feel grief in ways we'll never fully understand... www.thedodo.com/daily-dodo/c...

Someone has put up an umbrella over the goose nest at the pond round the corner from me to protect it from the heat and I think this is the sweetest thing ever. It’s possibly the pub next to the pond that has done it not sure. I will miss this place when we move 🪿 🐣❤️♥️🥰

This is Tumbleweed. She is an artist, and this is her art. Doesn't expect everyone to understand. 13/10 (IG: winstonandtumble)

Back in my happy place. Another season of kayaking begin begins. 🌿

There are all sorts of pretty birds in our yard, but these absurd bowling pins with ridiculous feet are my absolute faves. #birds

A livestream of a volcano in the Philippines captured a meteor crashing to Earth today. What are the odds? Mayon Volcano, Location: Albay, Luzon, Philippines

This is Nacho. He has big feelings. Every stuffed animal he owns is very aware of this. 14/10 (IG: nacho_thekneadydog)

The work of Vivian Maier (1920-2009), prolific US street photographer whose work was unknown in her lifetime #WomensArt

This is Cooper. He tried to politely decline the blowout, but apparently it's a nonnegotiable part of his spa package. 13/10 (IG: biscuitsandbathnyc)

Big news! Gertie Junco got her passport photo taken. She pretended her fluffs were a mustache and they let her keep them. #BirdOfTheDay #PassportPhoto #EastCoastKin #ECK #birds #PhotographersUnited #photography

This is Tango. She wants you to know this isn't what it looks like. Doesn't know what else it could be yet, but she's working on that. 12/10 obviously innocent (IG: eyes_on_tango)

Alan's #BirdOfTheDay theme today is #PassportPhoto. This crow posed nicely for one 😎 #Photography #Birds #Crows
