Now that i think more about it, the terms solarpunk and hopepunk might be slightly off the mark, as the -punk suffix in cyberpunk indicated a gritty, dystopian pessimism, among other things.

This hardcover version is the copy I read. If u doubt the value of public libraries or school boards, consider that no one assigned me the book or pointed me to it as a “must-read.” Catcher in the Rye, like Franny & Zooey, came to me — just as Catch-22 & Great Expectations did — in a school library.
