I've made a number of mistakes—many of them stupid—in my career as a lawyer, but I've never missed a court deadline. It's hammered into you that you should just file SOMETHING approaching compliance with the order if you can't file exactly what the court is asking for. Judges hate being ignored.

CNN is reporting munitions shortages influenced Trump’s decision to cancel the large-scale attack on Iran. Nothing to do with impending talks. It seems Trump has left the US in no position to fight a war.

Most subdivisions start out like this! Your Victorian and Craftsman central-city neighborhoods would have looked boring from the air (and probably the street) when they were first built. But these new subdivisions with restrictive HOA covenants means these neighborhoods will ALWAYS LOOK LIKE THIS!

Love drone footage of new builds in exurban Texas, gives me a very particular kind of dread to look at that is hard to replicate with other photos.

IMO, voters love to say they're moderate or value bipartisanship when pollsters call, but the number of actual moderates has always been tiny and voters prefer politicians stand for *something*. Moderate Dems getting their asses handed to them by right-wing firebreathers should make that obvious.

I keep arguing that Dem leadership (Schumer, Jeffries, etc.) are stuck in the 90s, as are many of the high profile Dem consultants and advisors. They think most voters are de facto moderate. This is why their thinking is outdated:
