While we are in this Greek Mythology moment, may I remind you that Emma Thompson is adapting Pat Barker’s take on The Iliad, and she’s struggled to get it made bc the focus on what acts of war against women and survival thereafter actually look like (the core of Barker’s narrative) is too intense.

Convinced after last night's ppv that the modern pro wrestling fan has become so engrossed in inside baseball that they've forgotten/never understood the actual game. Ex: Willow's win was automatically met w/ "transitional champ" discourse bc they can't enjoy anything w/o pretending to be a booker

AEW shouldn't exist as a company. We don't deserve them. One ppv is an 8/10 and suddenly the sky is falling and the company is losing it's grip. It's ok to not like matches. It's ok to think this show has been "weaker". But claiming this is the worst ppv ever is insane.
