The 2nd Annual Global Foto Walk will be happening on September 26th. We will be opening up the Foto Host Application soon if you want to host a walk in your city. Last year, we had over 1,500 people participate across 50+ cities and 20+ countries worldwide. More news coming very soon!

We are working on a big Read-Only 2.0 update that lets non-foto users click into your posts and portfolios to view photos larger without needing a Foto account. We are working on a bug with image quality specific to Android uploads. We are also working on some smaller bug fixes.

The browser version is 99% ready for public launch, but we are fighting a serious bug that we need to resolve. We have spent the past 1.5 days trying to fix it, & we have reduced its frequency, but it's still there. We don't want to launch the browser until we fix this. Thanks for your patience!

Hey Android People!!!! We just released Foto 0.10.57 which drastically speeds up the app launch time. You’ll want to update to 0.10.57 and open Foto, scroll for a bit, then force close Foto and reopen the app. You’ll see much faster app launch speeds now! We are still waiting on Apple to review.

This week we are wrapping up the update that will improve app launch speeds. Internal testing will start in a couple of days. We continue to work on the browser version of Foto. Specifically, we are working on the single Post page and the single Portfolio page.

We’ve found a way to speed up app loading times for everyone. We are working on that now and hope to be able to have an update in 2 weeks that will reduce the app loading time down to 2-3 seconds. We also are continuing to work on fixing bugs with the browser version of Foto.

Foto Browser Update - March 31st, 2026 - This video shows our latest progress on the Browser version of Foto. We have made good progress on the Home Feed, Discovery Page, Notification Page, and Profile Page! We’ll be sharing more as we drill down into the details a bit more.
