Here's a fossil of Receptaculites, a type of calcereous green algae, living from the Ordovician through the Devonian periods, about 485 to 359 million years ago. Called Tyndall Stone, this limestone/dolomite was imported from near Winnipeg to the exclusive Terminal City Club, Vancouver, BC.
